Raunak Daga and Rishi Lahoti cofounded DMV Debate Camp in the Summer of 2018. They are the teaching and research coordinator for the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology's Public Forum debate team. In middle school, Raunak and Rishi debated for the Rachel Carson Parliamentary debate team, placing first in the DCUDL championship tournament in 2017. As junior year debaters, they've placed at numerous local and national tournaments. On the local circuit, they have had numerous podium finishes at tournament, including WACFL and the Broad Run invitational. Raunak and Rishi have qualified for Metrofinals, the DC championship tournament, for three years in a row, placing second in their freshman year. On the national circuit, they've competed at the Columbia and Harvard tournaments, breaking to elimination rounds at George Mason patriot games, and Capitol Classic Beltway. They've coached the Rachel Carson parliamentery team through judging and preparation for local tournaments.
